I love and have always loved reading. I usually read one at once but at times I will read two. I have a book end which states 'Caution! Bookworms bite when disturbed.
In the Blood
In The Blood is one of those books that is just brilliant. I had heard about it from blogs that I follow but had never read any books by Lisa Unger before.
Following the tale of Lana and a damaged young boy, Luke, who she looks after, it becomes much more sinister when her best friend from university disappears.
The tale is full of twists, some of which I grasped, but some of which were a surprise even up to the last page.
After reading this book I will be definitely be looking at earlier novels by the author. I would also recommend this book to anybody who loves to think hard as they read. It's one you need to absorb every word of.
