I bought this book because it was the book of the month for an online crime book club that I've recently joined. I had never read any by the author and it wasn't until I had finished the book that I realised it was the third in a trilogy about Dublin.
Quite a large cast, very violent but also slight touches of humour. I loved the nickname Mopey Dick! I liked his style of writing and the story but I would have preferred it just to be one thread. I really got into the part of the novel involving the robbery, but not the part about the murder of the banker. I will probably in the future read the previous books that form the trilogy then read this one again. I know that at least one character crosses over into this book.
