Lonely Graves is the first part of a trilogy written by Britta Bolt.
Pieter Posthumus, I love his name, is in charge of the lonely funerals department in Amsterdam. He takes his job seriously and tries to give his cases a decent funeral. One of the people he is trying to help is also being investigated by police in relation to terrorism.
I loved reading about Pieter, we also meet his family and friends who feature often in the novel. The part of the novel that covered terrorism was harder to read, although it covers the different views very well.
I will be looking out for the next two books in the trilogy.
